Have a great rest of the week everyone and I will post again soon.
I had hoped to get this post out Saturday evening after our card class, but you know how that goes….life gets in the way. So you still have a day before Valentine’s to whip up a quick card and here are a few samples if you would like to copy them.
I got the Bloomin’ Hearts thinlit die cut card (top left corner with butterfly) idea from Carol McCarron at A Crafty Cat . Originally I found a picture of this card on Pinterest and just copied the picture, then before I wrote this I found the picture again and followed her link. For your convenience I included her link so that you can go check out her other very pretty card just like this only with a little bird instead of a butterfly. She is a very talented lady.
The other two cards are my idea’s. I really like the “Love” card I think that card is one of my better ideas yet. The coffee cup one…I don’t know, I really struggled with that one.
Now this next card is one that we made as well, on a request from one of the ladies that wanted to learn how to make the box card. I think this one is so cute and we had so much fun with the coloring and decorating. I think one day I am going to just host an adult coloring day, because it was so relaxing and fun just chatting and coloring with other creative people. Anywho, here is the box card that we made.
This is not a Stampin’ Up stamp set it is from Art Impressions/Hampton Art. The paper is from a retired Stampin’ Up DSP collection, and the card stock is also retired it’s called Blackberry Bliss. My husband drew the little wine glass and wine bottle you see on the front flap and on the back, and then printed them all out for me to fussy cut enough for each kit.
Don’t these lovely ladies look like they are having fun? I really love this stamp set. I am not a big wine drinker (maybe a glass or two, once or twice a month) but I love everything wine related. Weird, I know, but that’s how I roll….LOL!
Ok, time to go I am getting delirious from sleep deprivation (it is half an hour past my bedtime). Goodnight all!
This is going to be a short post because I just wanted to get these pictures out so you can get a peek at some of the cards we are going to be making in this Saturdays Class (9-23-2017). Oh my goodness, can you believe that September is almost over already?
So far I have four Christmas card kits and one Thanksgiving card kit made up, but I have a couple more Thanksgiving card ideas of my own that I am working on so those will be a surprise for class. Give you a hint: one is a shaker card. So now for the samples.
Let me know what you think by leaving a comment below. I appreciate all feed back, it’s what keeps me inspired.
Have a great rest of the week and do something create, it’s great for relieving stress.
