I would like to give you a little background about myself. For as long as I can remember I have enjoyed making things and creating beautiful items from virtually nothing. There were many years that life kinda got in the way of me having the time to enjoy crafting, but now I have found that making time for being creative also makes me very productive and peaceful in all areas of my life. With this realization I truly believe that art really is a form of therapy for the mind, body and soul.
Eighteen months ago I discovered Stampin’ Up through a friend who used to be a demonstrator. This friend had given me a beautiful hand made Christmas card and after the holidays, when I began to put everything away, I just couldn’t bring myself to put that card away (I still have it displayed on a shelf in my office). The quality of the paper and the clarity of the stamps just blew me away so I asked her if that card was made with Stampin’ Up products and she told me it was. I looked the company up online and immediately wished that I would win the lottery, because I wanted to buy everything that I saw in their shop. Instead I decided to take a breath and do this logically, so I found a demonstrator locally and she was having a class that following Sunday afternoon – I signed up. I only went to one other class that she had, but made the decision anyway to sign up and become a demonstrator. I truly love making cards and sharing my love of the craft with other people.
I also like to crochet, knit, and make beaded jewelry. There are times (like right now) that I will have several different projects I am working on. Like most creative people I have too many ideas in my head and not enough time to create them all. I am hoping with the creation of this blog it will help me share with you my ideas and get your feedback.
I appreciate your stopping by and taking a look at my place, I hope that you will come back to visit as my site grows.
