Valentines Day

What a beautiful day! This morning I woke up at 7 am and the sun was out, there was no wind but it was a little chilly. I came downstairs, made a pot of coffee, went to my craft room and made a couple Valentine flower arrangements, a couple cards and another gift bag. At 8:15 am I was in the shower and getting ready for the day, because today my husband and I are going to set up out between Coolidge and Casa Grande by CAC and sell Valentines items for all those last minute shoppers.

Here are some pictures of our little spot.

We met some really nice people like the cowboy buying his girlfriend a bouquet of flowers and a card, the trucker driver that wanted to buy something cheap for his wife because he said if he bought her something expensive this year then he would have to buy her something even more expensive next year, a really nice guy that was buying something for his mom and two nieces, and this really funny couple with this cute little pug dog (dude I hope that you really go all out for your anniversary next month because you weren’t doing so good with Valentine’s). We even had this poor kid on a motor cycle come running up to us for help because he had gotten stung by a bee in his leg. As he left I told him he needed to invest in a pair of chaps and he laughed because he said he was thinking the same thing.

We did really well with sales, but most of all we enjoyed the time outside together. This was probably one of the best Valentine’s Days I have ever had and I didn’t even get any flowers or candy. I got the best gift ever spending the day with my husband, the very first Valentine’s Day in 18 years, and God blessed us with a beautiful day.

How was your Valentines? What did you do? Even if you don’t celebrate Valentine’s let me know what the highlight of your day was, I would love to hear about your day!

Have a great rest of the week!

Sheila
